REX Controls also implements highly customized applications in the power industry. The state-of-the-art approach and model-based design is used for development. A set of advanced models of power energy resources and devices has been developed. These models have been used for real-time simulation of hybrid power networks.

The company also implemented a turnkey retrofit of the diagnostic system on both secondary units of the Temelín Nuclear Power Plant (Czech Republic). The original measurement hardware has been replaced with modern measurement and data acquisition system with high precision. Special terminal blocks have been designed and manufactured. A custom configuration and acquisition software has been developed and integrated into the existing diagnostic system. The retrofit had to be accomplished during a scheduled shutdown so it could provide reliable data from the very start of its new period of operation.
